Mohammed Madami Etsu, new chairman, Niger State Board of Internal Revenue.

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has approved the appointment of Mohammed Madami Etsu as the new chairman, Niger State Board of Internal Revenue.  

A statement issued by the office of the Secretary to the Niger State Government, Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, and signed by the Information Officer, Lawal Tanko, disclosed that the appointment of Mohammed Etsu to the challenging position was based on merit, proven credentials, personal integrity, and outstanding records of decades of experience.  

The statement said that the new chairman was reminded of the policy direction of the present administration which is to improve the quality of life of the citizens of Niger State and urged him to pursue the re-invigoration of the board within the context of the state government’s drive towards enhanced internally generated revenue.

The SSG told the chairman that he is also expected to bring his knowledge, skills, and wealth of experience to bear in the performance of his new assignment by working assiduously to justify the confidence reposed in him. 

The governor congratulated the new appointee and wishes him success and God’s guidance in the performance of the arduous duties of his office, the statement stressed.

It would be recalled that Governor Abubakar Sani Bello recently appointed the Acting Chairman of the Board, Alhaji Ahmed Garba Gunna as Emir of Kagara after the demise of late Salihu Tanko.
