The Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers and Etsu Nupe, Alh. Yahaya Abubakar has urged Nigerians to embrace peace, unity and love irrespective of their religious affiliation.

Alh. Yahaya Abubakar gave the advice in his palace during the disbursement of over N3 million trade capital funds in support of widows by Sen. Mustapha Sani Mohammed, representing Niger South at the National Assembly.

The emir called on politicians in the emirate to emulate Sen. Mustapha Sani Mohammed for his support on industrialization, youth development, provision of infrastructural development and women/widow in the emirate.

He also called on the people of the emirate to always be security conscious to ensure the security of lives and property, and to report any strange face or movement to the nearest security outfit.

Over 370 widows from 88 wards of Sen. Mustapha Sani’s constituency benefitted from the funds.

In his remarks, Sen. Mustapha Sani said the financial support for widows who constitute vulnerable groups is in fulfillment of his campaign promises and called on the beneficiaries to judiciously use the funds for the purpose it was meant for.

He promised to provide more dividends of democracy for the people of his constituency.

Sen. Mustapha Sani expressed appreciation for the support he is enjoying from the people of his constituency, and urged them to continue, and hoped that they will extend it to President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Abubakar Sani Bello’s government.

He called on the people of Bida Emirate to join the crusade in fighting corruption and insurgency in the country in all ramification..

Sen. Mustapha Sani also wished Nigerians and Nigerlites happy new year.
