GOV BELLOGovernor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has sympathised with his Chief Security Officer (CSO), Superintendent of Police (SP) Isah Murtala Raji over the death of his mother, Hajiya

Hauwa Murtala Sardauna.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mary Noel Berje said that death is inevitable and a compulsory end to all mortals, and enjoined his CSO and other of relations she left behind to take solace in the good life that she lived.

“Allah gives and Allah takes at his appointed time, I want you to remain strong, believing that mama has paid her dues here on earth, what is left for us is to pray for the forgiveness of her sins and for her to get a smooth passage into paradise,” he said.

Governor Bello while praying for the repose of her soul, prayed Allah to give the family members and other relations the fortitude to bear the loss. 

Hajiya Hauwa Murtala Sardauna died in Yola, Adamawa State at the age of 78 after a brief illness and has been buried according to Islamic rites.

The deceased left behind 14 children, 55 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
