Niger State Government has restated its resolve to collaborate with any Non-Governmental Organization with genuine intention towards youth empowerment in order to achieve the restoration agenda of the present administration.

Secretary to the state government, Alh. Ahmed Ibrahim Matane made the disclosure shortly after undertaking facility tour of Abdulsalami Youth Centre, Minna. 

Matane  revealed that the present administration would not relent in its cardinal principle of youth empowerment as they did not only constitute a formidable force, but made up of next generation of leaders, their well being, therefore had implications not only for their lives but also for the society.

He emphasized that the administration of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello would continue to give priority attention to youth empowerment as well as promote social security so that the future of the youth can be secured, both as individuals and as a nation through skills acquisition programme.

The SSG further explained that government is leaving no stone unturned towards the total rehabilitation of the Abdulsalami Youth Centre with a view to achieving the set goals.

He, therefore, enjoined the youth in the state to shun all forms of social vices, stressing that government was committed to protecting the rights and privileges of the youth.

The SSG was accompanied by the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Emmanuel Umar and other top government functionaries.
