Last batch of Niger State Pilgrims that perform this year’s Hajj have arrived Minna International Airport, Wednesday at about 4.30am local time aboard Max Air.

The last flight consisting of 416 pilgrims included nine oficials, Amirul Hajj Team, Head and members of National Medical Team, among others.

In a statement issued and signed by the board’s Information Officer, Hajiya Hassana Isah and copy made available to Newsline, she said that with this last batch, the airlift of the 3, 280 pilgrims that performed the 2019 Hajj from Niger State have successfully been completed.

At the landing bay, the Acting Executive Secretary of the Niger Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alh. Umar Makun Lapai, expressed gratitude to the Almighty Allah for the success recorded by the board from the beginning to the end of the exercise and also thanked the state governor, Alh. Abubakar Sani Bello for the attention and support extended to the board’s management.

Alh. Makun also appreciated the Amirul Hajj Team, the 25 LGA Area Pilgrims Welfare Officers, Media Team, Medical Team and the entire staff of the board, including all the stakeholders for their patience, understanding and maturity exhibited, not forgetting the positive contributions made towards the success of the exercise.
