The SSG stressed that the decision to restrict the use of motorcycles from  9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.is a welcome development as the measure will no doubt check influx of armed bandits as well as drastically prevent criminal activities been perpetrated by the motorcyclists in the State.

Ahmed Matane explained that that Niger State remain the most peaceful State in the country and government would not fold its arms and  allow some disgruntled elements to trampled on the existing peace, hence the need for Nigerlites to put hands on deck in order to arrest the ugly situation.

He called on motorcyclists in the State to adhere strictly to the order as security agencies have been directed to enforce the ban and anybody found violating the order would face the full wrath of the law.
