Chairman of Jos-North Local Government Area of Plateau State, Hon. Phillip Izang Nyam has felicitated with the Muslim ummah in the local government as the Muslim ummah commences the holy month of Ramadan which is a period for showing love, piety, tolerance, caring for the needy and strict maintenance of peace and tranquility among the Muslim ummah and their country as enshrined in the Holy Qur’an.

“We should use this holy period of Ramadan to show love and compassion as well as promote peaceful co-existence among the various ethnic groups in Jos-North and our dear state in general. As this is the only way we can continue to sustain and further consolidate on the various peace initiatives put in place by our amiable and dynamic leader, His Excellency, Barr. Simon Bako Lalong in our dear state.

“I fervently pray that Allah SWT accepts our ibadat and prayers in this holy month of Ramadan as well as praying for God’s guidance for our amiable governor and his team in their quest of taking the affairs of our dear state to the next level”, he said.
