Governor of Niger State, Alhaji (Dr) Abubakar Sani Bello

Landzun Development Association, Bida, has condemned, in strong terms, the unfortunate misbehaviour exhibited by some misguided youths during the inspection of the burnt Dzuko Yayako in Bida by the Governor of Niger State,  Alhaji  (Dr) Abubakar Sani Bello, in company of His Royal Highness, the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Dr Yahaya Abubakar, CFR.

In a communique issued by the National Executive Committee of the association, signed by its President, Alhaji Mohammed Babatifin Mustafa, Baraden Nupe, the association called on the state governor to regard the ugly incident as an act of God and allow it serve as an encouragement for him to remain focused on all his people’s oriented programmes.

The association assured the governor of its resolve to continue to sustain the much-needed peace and development in the area.

It thanked the governor for his generous donation in aid of the victims of the fire disaster and called on all and sundry to emulate the gesture.

The communique, issued over the weekend, also contained the resolution to establish Landzun Development Association Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society to be used as an avenue for harnessing resources for its developmental activities.

The association also set up a committee headed by Alhaji Alfa Mohammed, Kidayan Nupe, to interface with relevant bodies to maximise its benefits from the various social protection programmes of the Federal Government.

It commended Hon Senator Sani Mustafa for the CBT Centre he is establishing in the area, saying the completion of the project would be of great value to our youths to key into to become productive and self reliant.
